We are again doing inspired work to refurbish donated bikes, which exceeded 600 donations this year. Our volunteers have passed the 300 bike mark and we still have a month left in 2022 to overhaul bikes. Here is our newest volunteer Paul Johnson with his first refurbished bike.
MASC has been a generous funder of Wheels over the years, including a recent grant award that will help us support biking kids in our community.
We have so far repaired 381 bikes at 27 events, 95 of which were done through a contract with Dream BIkes. These events have engaged new W4W volunteers to help and also expanded partnerships to include Bike Federation and Dream Bikes.
