We have had busy winter refurbishing bikes and are looking for donations of used bikes to continue to keep our volunteers working. Fully working bikes are ideal but we take bikes with broken or missing parts. We cannot accept bikes that are extensively rusted. Also we cannot take e-bikes.
A local videographer has featured Wheels in a video highlighting the best of Madison
A cycling club, Bike Forward, donated 11 new Trek and Giant bikes to us. Over half the bikes were immediately put in the hands of kids who engaged with their communities by participating in and promoting neighborhood riding events sponsored by BikEquity. One recipient was a dedicated participant who had 7 rides under her belt. Here is a picture of these new bike owners at the bike store collecting their new rides.
