On January 8th, we distributed 72 bikes at Centro Hispano. Volunteers Caitlin Hussey, Francisco Sayu, and Nadya Mariam, who are fluent in Spanish, were primary bike/helmet fitters. Neil McCallum and Jamie Campbell assisted where they could.
Lots of smiles! Francisco gave out his “Bike Equity” card to many of the recipients should follow up be required in the Spring.
The Push Continues
We have been busy this year refurbishing nearly 210 bikes and distributing over 270 refubished bikes and we would like to purchase new bikes as a special reward for bike earners. We are teaming up with Bike Forward and others to see if we can make it happen.
